The Hawks Prairie Rotary Club conducted their annual Hawks Prairie Rotary Golf Tournament on May 13th, 2011, on the Links Course at the Golf Club at Hawks Prairie.
The Hawks Prairie Rotary Club conducted their Annual Charity Hawks Prairie Rotary Golf Tournament on Friday, May 13th, 2011, at the Links Course at the Golf Club at Hawks Prairie.
The tournament was aresounding success. Golfers participated in raising over $8,000 to help make it possible for the Hawks Prairie Rotary Club to continue to support many of their ongoing community support projects.These include our support to the military families, book drive, support for the River Ridge High School Interact Club, International Youth Exchange Program, Scout recognition lunches, support to the local Boys and Girls Club, and so many other projects.
The Links Course at the Golf Club at Hawks Prairie is a first rate course and seems very challenging for most players and everyone has a great time.Most of the holes are staffed with creative ideas, which made the day even more fun!
There were plenty of raffle prizes thanks to thirty six firms and individuals and 16 of the holes were sponsored. There were 95 golfers participating.
The winner of the Hawks Prairie Rotary Club Challenge was a team frm theOlympia Rotary Club.
